About the Project
How was the AI Literacy Test developed?
A research team at Leipzig University developed this first scientifically grounded AI Literacy Test for communication professionals in a three-stage process.
The project was supported by the Academic Society for Management & Communication.

The international literature on AI literacy and existing AI competence tests were reviewed and systematically analyzed. By combining these insights with concepts of communication management and competence development, a scientific model for analyzing AI competences among communication professionals was developed.

Based on this model, the questions for the AI Literacy Test were derived. They reflect the individual AI literacy level of a communication professional.

The AI Literacy Test was first used by the global communicators at Siemens AG, thereby also validating its feasibility.
